Amanda and Ryan were married at the Planters Inn on the 19th of June 2021. The couple’s wedding day was the epitome of old glamor and sophistication. With the help of Linda, their lead planner, and their accomplished vendors – the couple’s vision flourished into a reality on their wedding day.

Planters Inn is located on Market Street – the heart of downtown Charleston. It is believed to have secured the best location of all Charleston hotels. You and your guests can encompass yourself in the Charleston lifestyle during your stay. The Historic Charleston City Market, and popular restaurants such as the Peninsula Grill, Church and Union, and Tempest reside on the same street as the Inn. Many fine dining restaurants can be found around the corner along East Bay Street, while Charleston’s most popular galleries and shops can be located two blocks away on the famous King Street.

Amanda was a spectacle of old glamor with her hair styled by Crissy Battaglia, and make-up by Lashes and Lace.

Amanda found her gorgeous wedding dress at Elizabeth’s Bridal Manor. She perfectly accessorized her dress with elegant shoulder jewelry and matching earrings.

The couple had a romantic and intimate ceremony in the garden courtyard of the Planters Inn.

Modern Floral provided beautiful displays of florals throughout the wedding day. For the ceremony, they created two large flower arrangements consisting of only white hydrangeas for the couple’s arbor. White rose petals and floating candles were added to the pond for an extra touch of romance.

Kirsten Barner, from Wedding Belle Rev, officiated the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was especially special when the bride and groom shared their personal vows to each other.

Charleston Entertainment beautifully played their string instruments while the bride and groom walked down the aisle together for the first time as newlyweds.

The couple made it official once they signed their marriage license after the ceremony.

The talented Stela Zaharieva beautifully captured the couple around many iconic Charleston locations.

The lanterns were lit and the tree illuminated for a romantic cocktail hour in the courtyard.

The dinner service was an important part for the bride and groom as both of them are extreme foodies! Planters Inn curated a 4 course dinner that left everyone thoroughly satisfied.

The evening was reminiscent of the glamorous Gatsby era with feathers, gold accents, and pearls as their decor.

The couple and their guests ended the wedding day by dancing the night away with the Zach Bendell Band from Other Brother Entertainment.
