Middleton Place is a venue that holds a great deal of Charleston history. It is impossible to not be enraptured by the beauty of Middleton Place while walking through the private gardens towards the ceremony location.
On April 23, 2022, Emily & Evan walked along the cobblestone path towards the terrace overlooking the historic Ashley River to share their vows. The stunning lowcountry oak tree framed the newlywed couple as they said their “I Dos” while the Spanish moss simmered in the sunlight. Emily & Evan chose a Pinnacle Weddings Complete Package with Linda as their Lead Planner, assisted by Carrie and Emma on the wedding day.

Minted provided the couple with beautifully coordinated save-the-dates, invitations, and RSVP cards to announce their special day. Special discounts and product offers from Minted are available to all Pinnacle Weddings couples.

Preparing for her memorable day, the bride and her bridesmaids were able to relax the morning of her wedding while Lashes and Lace pampered the group with hair and make-up.

Chelsea Paige Photography captured every special moment, including the emotional and exciting first looks between father & daughter, mother & son, and bride & groom.
After their first look, Emily & Evan were able to spend quality time together as they privately strolled through the beautiful gardens at Middleton Place, before their guests arrived.

Branch Design Studio created a beautiful ribbon wrapped bridal bouquet with charms to honor the bride’s loved ones. They provided creatively designed Spring florals throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, showcasing the wedding colors of whites, pinks, and blues. A chic circle of flowers was suspended above the dance floor.

The favorite furry member of the wedding party gave a “paw” of approval congratulating Evan with a handshake on the big day. The ceremony was complete as this sweet dog took his place with the groomsmen.

Cocktail hour was held outdoors among the centuries-old oak trees. Signature cocktails were created by the couple for guests to enjoy at the bar. Their dog was honored with a signature cocktail for the guests.
The custom cornhole boards were a perfect touch to showcase the newlywed’s new last name as they begin their married life together.

Linens, tableware, furniture, and décor rentals which were beautifully and creatively set out by Linda and her team were provided by Curated Events.
Unique southern appetizers and a specially curated plated dinner was enjoyed by friends and family, catered by Middleton Place.

“Love is Sweet” and so was the elegant 2-tier cake with gold and floral accents, and a sparkly “Mr. & Mrs.” topper, provided by ABCD Cakes.

Emerald Empire Band infused Emily & Evan’s special day with amazing live music appropriate for the beautiful ceremony & cocktail hour. The band played songs with high-energy and kept the dance floor full, from the first dance to the sparkler send-off.
After-wedding transportation was provided by Lowcountry Trolley.
