On the 25th of February, 2022, Genieve and CT were married at the Governor Thomas Bennett House in downtown Charleston. It was undeniable that these two beautiful people were meant to be when the sun shone bright and warmed up Charleston that Friday after a cold February in the lowcountry.
Genieve and CT found Pinnacle Weddings early in their wedding planning journey. After an introductory call with Linda Warner, the owner, they booked the complete package to help guide them through their wedding decisions.

Finding a venue was the first step in Gen and CT’s wedding process. Linda personally showed the couple what Charleston had to offer. After a day of visiting beautiful wedding venues, they decided to spend their wedding day at the beautiful and historic Governor Thomas Bennett House located in downtown Charleston. The House, although situated in the vibrant downtown, provides a secluded and quiet environment for your romantic day.
The Governor Thomas Bennett House features a courtyard for reception, a garden for ceremony; and includes features such as a porch, secret garden, and the lobby of the house for cocktail hour. The house is available for the bride and groom, as well as their parties for any getting ready necessities.

The bride and her bridal party spent the morning relaxing in the house, while Silhouette on Site styled their hair and make-up.

Jessica Flinchum Photography and Pretty Films Videography spent the day capturing the couple’s special moments.

Their ceremony took place in the garden. Genieve entered the ceremony through the grand front door of the house.

Their guests made their way to the courtyard for reception. The Pinnacle Team placed the couple’s personal decor around the venue and made sure to set out their polaroid guest book on their gift table.

The Bearded Florist used an array of flowers for their gorgeous arrangements.

Eventhaus and French Eclectic supplied the rentals and furniture. Rosemary and Rye catered the evening with tasty lowcountry cuisine.

Sugar Bakeshop made a beautiful and delicious array of desserts. The couple chose a small drum cake for their cake cutting. The cake was saved for their one year anniversary.

As the sun set, the dance floor came alive with the help of our very own Pinnacle DJ, Davis!

For an extra bit of fun, The Pinnacle Team handed out LED wands and glow sticks to dance with.
