Spenser and Todd were married on the 6th of November 2021 at Hibernian Hall. Hibernian Hall is located on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston. The Hall is a social venue and holds many weddings and events throughout the year. Its unique attributes include the black and white checkered floor, a rotunda, spiral staircases and the grand gold chandelier which hangs in the middle of the hall – making it the perfect venue for an elegant and classic wedding.
The Hall is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown – allowing both you and your guests to explore what Charleston has to offer. King Street, known for its shops, popular restaurants, and bars, is located only a street away. You and your guests can party the night away along King Street even after the wedding day is done! Restaurants such as High Cotton, Church and Union; and Slightly North of Broad, are located a few minutes away on East Bay Street and are perfect for scheduling a rehearsal dinner after the ceremony rehearsal the day before.
Hibernian Hall is located next to the well-known Mills House Hotel. Your guests will find comfort in staying at the Mills House in preparation for your wedding day. On their special day, the grooms made sure to stand out from the crowd by both wearing white suit jackets and bowties, while the bridal party were elegant in black suits and dresses.

Linda Warner, their planner, helped Spenser and Todd turn their vision into a reality. The couple’s vision was a black-tie wedding. They wanted their venue, florals, and decor to display a sense of sosphication, and for their special day to be immersed by the historical downtown Charleston. Their decor was gold accented and bubbles were the main choice of drink.
Carrie assisted Linda on the day. Alongside Linda, she made sure their personal decor was set-up and the day ran smoothly.

Spenser and Todd decided on a church ceremony at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, located three minutes away from Hibernian Hall. The exterior of the church displayed the quintessential architecture of Charleston, while the interior allowed for an intimate and beautiful ceremony.

Carolina’s Executive Limo Line picked up guests from the church to bring them to Hibernian Hall for cocktail hour. The cocktail hour was held downstairs underneath the rotunda. After cocktail hour, the guests made their way upstairs to the great hall for dinner and dancing.

The grooms had their first dance on the black and white checkered dance floor.

The crescent wooden bar, supplied by Eventhaus, was placed in the middle of the hall underneath the grand chandelier – allowing for an effortless and smooth flow during reception.
Hamby’s catering curated a dinner menu which deliciously represented Charleston southern food.

Our planners go the extra mile for our clients. Linda and Carrie took the time to make sure the boutonnieres were properly placed on the men’s jackets.

Nicholas Gore Photography captured the couple and their beautiful moments throughout the wedding.

The flower arrangements were beautifully assembled by Moonlight Iris Florals. The arrangements were simple and classical with a display of only a variety of white flowers and greenery. The tables alternated between high and low arrangements and were surrounded by votives.

Both grooms had their own cake, with their own special flavors. Chocolate Cake Charleston baked and assembled these stunning cakes. Spenser chose a traditional three tiered chocolate wedding cake, while Todd chose to have an armadillo groom’s cake with red velvet filling. The armadillo was a sweet reference to the cake from Steel Magnolias.

The couple and their guests danced the night away with Emerald Empire Band. They hired a nine-piece band which kept everyone on the dance floor.

Their wedding night was complete with a beautiful newlywed send-off!
