Holli and Harper were married on a gorgeous day in downtown Charleston. On October 23rd, 2021, this beautiful couple was married at the Circular Congregational Church surrounded by their friends and family. Their wedding day continued at the Historic Mills House Hotel. The Mills House is known for its striking pink walls and significant history. In the 1900s, guests included President Theodore Roosevelt. The Mills House wedding amenities include a bridal suite for hair and make-up needs, various ceremony spaces, an elegant courtyard with a grand fountain for cocktail hour and the Barbados Room for your reception.

Carrie was their lead planner and was assisted by Anna on the day. Christi photographed their beautiful moments, and Davis got the party started with his DJ skills. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready in the Mills House bridal suite. Holli hired Lashes and Lace to style her bridal parties hair and make-up. They met Holli in the bridal suite to begin hair and make-up. Onsite styling is a favorable option to many of our clients as it allows you to relax the morning of your wedding.
Bridal and family portraits were taken at Washington Square Park, located across the street from the Mills House.
Their ceremony took place at the Circular Congregational Church. This church welcomes and celebrates people of every race and ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation. It is a place of love and acceptance, and one of our favorite churches to work with in the downtown Charleston area.
The guests were escorted to the Mills House where they enjoyed drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres in the courtyard for cocktail hour.
The guests were seated inside for reception, where the table decor displayed beautiful flower arrangements by Out of the Garden.
The couple had three signature cocktails for each of their adorable animals!
Holli and Harper began their evening with their first dance, followed by the father – daughter dance, and mother -son dance.
The evening continued with a plated dinner and cake cutting. The couple had a variety of mini-cupcakes for their guests, while they saved their cake for their one year anniversary.
Davis was a hit as the couple and their guests finished the night on the dance floor.
The couple ended their special day with a private last dance and a newlywed send-off.
